Acceptable Use Policy
1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") defines permitted and prohibited uses of voice services provided by Enhanced VoIP Communications Inc. Violations may result in suspension or termination without refund.
2. Permitted use
Services may be used for lawful business and residential voice communications, including inbound customer support, outbound sales where compliant with applicable telemarketing rules, internal enterprise calling, and emergency services where supported by your configuration and local regulations.
3. Prohibited use
Customers may not use Services for illegal activity, fraud, harassment, hate speech, transmission of malware, unauthorized interception, bypass of authentication, traffic pumping, wangiri, robocalling without required consent, caller ID spoofing intended to deceive, or any activity that degrades network integrity.
4. High-volume & dialer traffic
Auto-dialers, predictive dialers, and high CPS outbound campaigns require prior approval. We may require traffic profiles, opt-in evidence, and pacing controls before enabling high-volume routes.
5. Number & CLI rules
Customers must have authority to use assigned or presented numbers. CLI must accurately represent the calling party where regulations require. Toll-free and emergency calling obligations must be observed.
6. Security
Customers must protect SIP credentials, restrict access to trusted IPs where possible, and promptly report suspected toll fraud. We may block destinations or suspend trunks showing fraud indicators.
7. Enforcement
We investigate reported abuse and anomalous traffic patterns. Remedies include rate limits, route blocks, mandatory security changes, suspension, and termination. We may cooperate with carriers and authorities as required by law.
8. Reporting abuse
Report suspected AUP violations to [email protected] with call examples, timestamps, and originating numbers.
